Hello, everyone.  My e-mailing list is a few years old, so I dread to think of how many bounce-backs I’m going to receive from this.

Attached is preliminary schedule of talks.  If I’ve left out anyone, please let me know.  For those of you giving talks, let me know of any special equipment that you require.  All talks will be in Rooms A and B of the Hazelrigg Student Union at Hastings College.

I don’t know how many of you may have already made hotel reservations, but Hastings (not the College) is hosting the state Eagles pool tournament that weekend, and almost every room in town has been long-reserved.  Because of this, you may want to try Grand Island (about 30 miles north) for lodging.  Considering that most attendees will probably be in Grand Island, Ju Hall and I have made preliminary arrangements with the Vientiane Restaurant, a new Thai restaurant in Grand Island, for the banquet.  What we have in mind is a buffet dinner, including:

            Egg rolls

            Pad Thai Shrimp

            Red Curry Chicken

            Pad Ped Chicken

Pad Ped Seafood (which they’ll only make because of Ju)

            Peppered Steak

Cost will not exceed $10.00 and includes a drink (the iced coffee is really good).  We’ve tried to include some less adventurous choices, as well as appropriate Lenten selections.

More information will follow, including directions and parking recommendations.  In the meantime, if you have any corrections or concerns, please let me know.  And if you plan on attending the banquet, let me know as soon as you can so we can give them a number.

John
